September (Most Recommended) is considered the official start of the school year and that’s when the biggest intake occurs. Many programs are only available for admission in the fall.Private colleges and vocational schools often have new classes starting every one to two months. As a result, students can apply to begin their education at any point in the year.Application deadlines vary by institution, as well as by programs. General application deadlines are outlined in the table below. We strongly recommend checking the GlobalPass App for the most accurate deadline information.

What documents do I need to apply to a program?

Many students ask us: “Do I need to finish my current studies to beeligible to apply?”. The answer is No.For example: If you are applying for a bachelor’s program, you do not need to complete your high school education before applying. Being in your last year of high school (i.e. grade 12 in most countries) is the minimum requirement to apply to a bachelor’s program. The general rule is, as long as you can demonstrate that you are qualified to graduate from your current educational program before starting your studies in USA or Canada, you are eligible to apply today. You don’t need a certificate of graduation, unless you have finished your current education.Required documents when applying to an undergraduate program: If you are applying for an undergraduate program (i.e. a program that only requires a high-school level of education), you will need your highschool transcript and it must show all of your grades obtained from all years of high-school (usually grade 9 – 12).If you have finished high-school, your high-school graduation diploma/certificate is also required. You will also need a copy of your passport (if you have one). Required documents when applying to a post-graduate program:Post-graduate programs require a higher education degree or diploma. For example, most master’s programs require a four-year bachelor’s degree and most post-graduate certificate programs need at least a three year bachelor’s degree or an undergraduate diploma.
